Club Penguin

Club Penguin is a really fun online game where you have a penguin avatar. You play games to earn money and stamps. If you are a member, you can buy clothes and more colors of puffles, which I will explain in a minute. If you are a non-member, you can't BUY clothes, but you can pick up free items, buy backgrounds, and buy different colors for your penguin. You can have buddies, and go to other people's igloos. You can even buy furniture and decorate your own igloo, if you are a member.

If you get 800 coins while playing the various games on the island, you can buy a fluffy companion called a puffle. They come in ten colors: Blue, red, purple, black, yellow, green, pink, white, orange, and brown.  ( but I hope we will find more. I will explain momentarily ). In the picture at the top of my blog, the pink fluffy things are pink puffles. Unfortunately, non-members can only adopt blue and red.  What I mean by I hope we will find more, is the fact that three years ago, '09 and my first year of CP, during the annual Puffle Party, ( another thing to explain in a moment) sightings of a white puffle came pouring in. The next month, they were available for adoption. Two years ago, during the annual Puffle Party, an orange puffle was sighted. Again, the next month they were up for adoption. Last year, during a Wilderness Expedition,  the path lead to a brown puffle cave, were you could adopt a brown puffle for free and take it home. This year, I hope to find a magenta/ hot pink puffle. The reason that may happen is because the Puffle Party sign seems to have a code. In the word 'party' the letters go white, orange, brown, magenta. They so far have been found in that order, but it is just a myth.

Sometimes, Club Penguin is just an island floating in the water, though a lot of times, they are hosting a party, like the Puffle Party. The Puffle Party is a celebration of puffles and by far, my favorite party. Very soon, another party is coming. It seems that it will be a Sea Expedition, as the Penguin Style (Clothes magazine)  points to.  They throw a party for all the holidays (Christmas, April Fool's Day, Saint Patricks day, etc.)  and they host made up ones like the Expeditions. This possible Sea Expedition will be the fourth. They have had Cave, Mountain, and Wilderness Expeditions. They had a ninja party in November, all sorts of fun things. Also, parties are a great place to find free things. Go around the rooms and look for buckets with stuff in them, walk up to one, and click yes if you want whatever is in the buckets.

There are famous penguins that come to visit every once in a while. If you meet one, they will give you a background with them and their name signed. Rockhopper is a pirate that brings free stuff,  Aunt Artic is a newspaper writer ( yes, we have a newspaper). Rookie is a weird EPF agent, Cadence is a DJ that loves to dance, there is the Penguin Band, and Sensei.

Last but not least, you can be a few things. After your penguin is 40 days old, you can take a test and become a tour guide (gets 250 coins a month), you can play Card-Jitsu at the Dojo and become a ninja , and if you are a member you can try to become a water or fire ninja. You can also take a test and become an EPF agent. They bring in 250 or 350 a month.

Otherwise, make a penguin, waddle around, discover, and have fun!
