Jesus's Sibling

Being Jesus brother or sister would be really hard.

Sometimes, I would be jealous. I mean, Mom would never get onto him, cause he doesn't do anything wrong!

Other times, I would be really proud. Yeah, my brother was the one who healed the blind man and cast out demons.

Sometimes I might even get mad at him, because he wouldn't play some of my games, or go on some of my adventures, because they were wrong.

Growing up would get harder and harder. Nothing he ever did was rude or mean.  I know that if he were "just a brother", he would be much like Creator's Son.

Would you be yelling "Jesus! Kill Jesus! Kill my brother!" In the crowd at the Crucifixion?

Club Penguin

Club Penguin is a really fun online game where you have a penguin avatar. You play games to earn money and stamps. If you are a member, you can buy clothes and more colors of puffles, which I will explain in a minute. If you are a non-member, you can't BUY clothes, but you can pick up free items, buy backgrounds, and buy different colors for your penguin. You can have buddies, and go to other people's igloos. You can even buy furniture and decorate your own igloo, if you are a member.

If you get 800 coins while playing the various games on the island, you can buy a fluffy companion called a puffle. They come in ten colors: Blue, red, purple, black, yellow, green, pink, white, orange, and brown.  ( but I hope we will find more. I will explain momentarily ). In the picture at the top of my blog, the pink fluffy things are pink puffles. Unfortunately, non-members can only adopt blue and red.  What I mean by I hope we will find more, is the fact that three years ago, '09 and my first year of CP, during the annual Puffle Party, ( another thing to explain in a moment) sightings of a white puffle came pouring in. The next month, they were available for adoption. Two years ago, during the annual Puffle Party, an orange puffle was sighted. Again, the next month they were up for adoption. Last year, during a Wilderness Expedition,  the path lead to a brown puffle cave, were you could adopt a brown puffle for free and take it home. This year, I hope to find a magenta/ hot pink puffle. The reason that may happen is because the Puffle Party sign seems to have a code. In the word 'party' the letters go white, orange, brown, magenta. They so far have been found in that order, but it is just a myth.

Sometimes, Club Penguin is just an island floating in the water, though a lot of times, they are hosting a party, like the Puffle Party. The Puffle Party is a celebration of puffles and by far, my favorite party. Very soon, another party is coming. It seems that it will be a Sea Expedition, as the Penguin Style (Clothes magazine)  points to.  They throw a party for all the holidays (Christmas, April Fool's Day, Saint Patricks day, etc.)  and they host made up ones like the Expeditions. This possible Sea Expedition will be the fourth. They have had Cave, Mountain, and Wilderness Expeditions. They had a ninja party in November, all sorts of fun things. Also, parties are a great place to find free things. Go around the rooms and look for buckets with stuff in them, walk up to one, and click yes if you want whatever is in the buckets.

There are famous penguins that come to visit every once in a while. If you meet one, they will give you a background with them and their name signed. Rockhopper is a pirate that brings free stuff,  Aunt Artic is a newspaper writer ( yes, we have a newspaper). Rookie is a weird EPF agent, Cadence is a DJ that loves to dance, there is the Penguin Band, and Sensei.

Last but not least, you can be a few things. After your penguin is 40 days old, you can take a test and become a tour guide (gets 250 coins a month), you can play Card-Jitsu at the Dojo and become a ninja , and if you are a member you can try to become a water or fire ninja. You can also take a test and become an EPF agent. They bring in 250 or 350 a month.

Otherwise, make a penguin, waddle around, discover, and have fun!

Some of My Favorite Songs

I have been listening to some of my very favorite songs, which are available on Youtube. Here are just a few (Plus a puffle video Mustang will want to see..)

Dixieland or "I wish I was in the Land of Cotton". You will have to type in "I wish I was in the Land of Cotton" to find it. During the Civil War, it was the Confederate anthem.

Another favorite song is Marvellous Light by Charlie Hall. It is very inspiring and it shows God's love for His children. To find, you will have to put the author's name.

I like, or more like love, This is Eternal Life by Tommy Walker. Also very inspiring, with a good message. To find, you will have to put the author's name.

I enjoy Starry Night by Chris August. Very good song, good tune, and great message. To find you will have to put the author's name.

Reflection by Rick Pike is great, but I don't think it is available on Youtube yet, sorry. It has an amazing and humbling message. It shows amazing truth, and God's glory.

Indescribable by Chris Tomlin has truth coming out all sides. It is all about God's glory, and really amazing.  To find, you will have to put author's name.

These are not in order, I wrote them as I thought of them. Please take the time out of your day to listen to at least one of them.

And last but not least, that puffle video for Mustang. It is adorable! See if you can spot the orange puffle while they are feeding.. It is hard!

Blessings,
Firefly

Puffleness!

Yesterday, I promised my 24 puffles that I would pamper them all the way through February. Getting two brown puffles put me in the puffle mode and also, every February, CP puts on a Puffle Party. Even though it is only the 5th of January, I am super excited.

So, now I have to figure out how really to pamper them. I want to make it where they are having fun, so I need ideas.

Earlier today, our power flashed and I knew who to blame.
Me: Trig, Geo, were you playing with our power cables?
Them: Nooooo.
Me: Then did you overload a circuit?
Trig: Well, it was almost-
Me,cutting him off: Trig, it is a yes or no question. Did you or not?
Geo: Probably, but-
Me,cutting him off: It is not a yes, no, or maybe question. Yes or no?
Trig: Yes, but-
Geo, cutting him off: We didn't think "Cheese Whiz" would  hurt anything....

I am trying to figure out how to make a contraption. It would have two half circles, hollowed so a puffle could sit on them. Each one would have two holes, one in each side. I would tie a string in the holes, so now one has one piece of string across the top. Then, a long piece of string would be tied to the one across the top. Repeat the action on the other one, then, with the same piece of long string, tie the two together and hang the long string in the middle across a doorknob.

I hope no one minds listening to me gush about puffles....

Two Brown Puffles and a Something in My Stocking

When Christmas morning finally arrives, who isn't excited? I know I am.

This Christmas I got some of the things I really wanted, like a program for my computer called Stellarium, which is a star program, a book called Cloud's Legacy, which is about a wild stallion, a camera, and all sorts of other things. But I still didn't get a brown puffle, the one thing I really, REALLY wanted.

So, I ordered the cheapest one they had after Christmas. I was told it would arrive the 3rd or the 4th. A couple hours after ordering, my friend HR called to say that she had bought an identical one at Target for 7 bucks instead of 20. She also had a Christmas present for me. I was worried what it might be. An identical puffle to the one I had ordered.

Upon opening it, I found I was right, and would become the owner of twin brown puffles. Guess how thrilled I was. To add to this story, our rental on our P.O. Box hadn't been paid yet, so on the 3rd, yesterday, when it was open for the first time since, oh, about the 28th, we paid and checked the mail. He wasn't there, and I was heartbroken. "What am I gonna do, Geo?" I asked the brown puffle I had. I named him Geo for geometry.

Mom said that on our way to the park, where we would meet and play with Bertha and Mustang, we could check to see if he was there then, but I doubted it. Sighing and disappointed, we made our way home.

When it was time to leave, I tried not to hope to much. I knew he wouldn't be there, but I had to check. All but holding my breath as I unlocked the door... My eyes nearly bulged out of my head at the sight. All that was in the P.O Box was one package. To me. I let out a silent scream and raced back to the car and ripped the package open.  I was then and there qualified the Proud Owner of Twin Brown Puffles.
