Bookie Bailey

It is pronounced Boo Key, not booky.

Bailey the cat is here till Sunday!! She is SO crazy! We picked her up last night, but she's already gotten into trouble.....

Last night, when I went to sleep, I shut my door (which I NEVER do). So that was already weird, but then, after I finally drifted off, in one of my dreams there was a sound. Then it came again, this time loud enough to actually wake me. I then defined the sound as a pitiful cat saying LET ME IN!!

All through the night I was woken by her sounding pitiful. Once, she started scratching at the door. I thought she would dig a hole through it!!!!

All of her adventures reminded me of previous times she has come.

Last time she was here, Mustang and her family came over to eat supper with us while she was there. At first she ran and hid, but soon she was in the middle of all of it. Mustang and I called her Tiger, because she pretended to stalk us (though she wasn't pretending when she pounced!).

Then one morning, she was licking the condensation off the window.

She is funny indeed!!!  I think I wrote about the time I was woken during the night to THUDDATHUDDATHUDDA mew mewr SQUEAKASQUEAKASQUEAKA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is the equivalent of her running for dear life through the house, her stopping to mew pitifully, then her finding Squeaky Mouse and playing with him.

Then there was the once when she was in a mood and was tearing through the house at breakneck speed, when she collided with googly fish, spun in three circles, caught a jingle ball and chased it, then saw the glowing dot, chased it followed up a wall by jumping and then crashed down to play with googly fish who had been hanging limply around her the entire time.

She is such a CAT!!!! See for yourself!

Whadda ya want? Is mine now.

Her being a queen

These last two are of her little. That is Mom's lap, BTW.

I was practicing violin over at Nana's house. At one point she was singing with me...

I LOVE WILD HORSES!!!!!!!

I will start this post by telling you about Cloud, a wild stallion I have previously mentioned.

Wild life photographer and film maker, Ginger Kathrens, went out into the Pryor, or Arrowhead Mountains of Montana. Soon, she spotted a wild horse band led by Raven, a pitch black horse with a white star, and set up her camera to film them. Just minutes later, a very light palomino mare, later named Phoenix, led her newborn right past Ginger's camera!

He was very different from all the other foals roaming the Arrowheads. He was almost completely white! All the other horses were darker colors, like duns, roans, and grullas, while both he and his mother were a light palomino color, making them like glow-in-the-dark targets for the wild cats. Ginger thought of the wispy clouds when she looked at the fragile colt,  so she named him Cloud.

Through his life she tracked him, worried over him when she couldn't find him in the winter, rejoiced when she found him in the spring,  cheered for him when he started his first family, was all but brought to tears when he was rounded up for auction by the BLM, rejoiced when he was let free, and agonized all over again when a year of drought brought fire to the horse range.

He has had his ups and downs, and turns16 in May this year, making him one of the oldest wild horses alive.

So now that I have told you the very short version of his story, here is mine.

Mom and I have been planning a trip to see some wild horses the BLM rounded up, in San Angelo, a place 2 and a half hours from here. At 9 A.M, we set off. We got to San Angelo at about 11:45, so Mom stopped and made me eat a burger.  Then we headed to the Spurs Arena, where we knew there were wild horses.

That's when we got our giganto scare. We saw a place with lots of horse corrals, horse stalls, and it was all empty. Every stinkin' one. We drove past another place, empty as well. And there were no people that could tell us where they might be. Finally, someone could tell us one more place to check.

We did, and voila, we saw horses!!!! But STILL no people to tell us if we were in the right place or, if we were, if we could look around at the horses or not! Someone working for the BLM came and told us we could look around, take pictures, and all that.

There were 6 pens. All of them held at least 6 wild horses, except pen 1 and pen 6. They held burros. Pen 1-Jennys- female burros. Pen 2- Yearlings-the name says it all. Pen 3- Geldings- Gelded stallions - (extra thought, they already have to freeze brand a WILD stallion, now they get to geld him too?? Whee, what fun.) Pen 4- Mares- female horses. Pen 5 - Some more yearlings. Pen 6 - Jacks- male burros.

So I was super careful not to touch any, because I knew that they would more than likely spook. But then the BLM guys started leaning on the fence, petting a horse or two that would let them close enough. There was a mare that I would have LOVED to take home. She was super sweet, and no matter where you petted her, she always DIDN'T CARE ONE BIT!!!! She was really sweet. One filly let me pet her, a gelding, nother yearling, nother mare, and a burro.  All in all, I pet almost all the horses!!! It was amazing!!!

Now I will enlighten you with pictures!!

Some beautiful mares

A gelding with a strange, gorgeous star

One of my favorites, a palomino gelding

Me petting an adorable, fluffy Jack burro

Me petting a gorgeous gelding I finally convinced to come close enough

Two silly yearlings grazing together. I grabbed this pic when one looked up.

Squeaky Puffle!

Ok, now that the Puffle Party has started, I will tell you all about it.

First, all the puffles have GREAT party rooms! It was a good thing to change the white puffles' room. It was great to have them more accessible, and apparently, the orange puffles' room is the Box Dimension.

They made minor adjustments to everything else, which made the party PERFECT.

But now I'll get to the part you REALLY want to hear about. Turning into a puffle. I was wrong about how, but not by much. You go in a room called the Puffle Play Zone, then you go in a place that has a puffle on a sign. You choose one of your puffles, just like you would if you were playing Puffle Playscape or Puffle Launch.

After you have chosen a puffle, it lets you in a room with a puffle shaped pool, a tube to play in, a relaxatron, everything is awesome! Then, when you go out of the room to play on CP, you are still a puffle!!! It is SO cool!!!

In the forest, Blue Puffle room, there is a tube. If you are a puffle, then you can hop through the tube!! It is really fun!!!!!

Also, you can get puffle suits. All you have to do is click the little book on the table in the room before you turn into a puffle, choose your color suit, and buy for 400 coins!!! (For all you who don't know CP, 400 coins is EASY to earn!)

Get on CP while the fun lasts!! The Puffle Party ends on March 27!!!!!!

SQUEAKAMANIA!!!!!!

Can anyone guess what this post will be about? Anyone? Well, it will be about PUFFLES!!!!!!! (Surprise, surprise)

So this time on CP, they have a Puffle Party!!!!!! This is my favorite party of all time and it starts 3 days from today! SO now I will tell you what I have gathered.

WE GET TO TURN INTO PUFFLES!!!!!!! THIS IS NO " POSSIBILITY"! I KNOW IT WILL HAPPEN!!!!!!!!!! How I think it will happen is this: We get puffle costumes, like giant puffles with a head hole and  arm holes. Then, you go to a members only place called the Puffle Play Zone. There, you turn into a puffle. I am not sure if this will be the way we do, but I know that we will be able to turn into puffles!!!!

Next, I know that there will be places all over the island that you can get free hats for your puffle and a matching one for you! This will be cool, because that means that non-members can get puffle hats.

I also know that puffles will TAKE OVER the island. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!
One more thing: The orange puffles don't have a party room! All the others do (I can tell because of the colored boxes in the different rooms) and white's party room has changed from the Mine to Ski Hill!
I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS PARTY!!!!!!!!!!

We Went on Vacation!

So you might be wondering why I haven't  posted in a while; so I will answer that question for you now.

We went on vacation last Wednesday (the day after the first Co-op!) and only came home on Monday (the day before Co-op #2!). We didn't go out of this state, just up to Waco and Brenham.

Luckily, Mom and Dad let us go check out IKEA!!! I adore that place!!!!!!!

We went to Waco first and only got there in enough time to check into our hotel,  go eat, and come back, but on the way to restaurant, I saw something beautiful. A TOYS "R" US!!!!!!! So I was thrilled, and I ate the best burger on the planet.

The next day, Thursday, we went to a place called Homestead Heritage. It was a working farm that fashioned like from the old days! It was super cool, but I didn't like one little itsy-bitsy thing. THEY DIDN"T HAVE ANY HORSES! But, I got an awesome pillowcase, and we got to see all kinds of cool stuff.

After we ate lunch at the Homestead Heritage, we headed back to Waco and went to the Dr. Pepper museum, which was really cool (even though I'm not a major fan of Dr. Pepper). We got to see how it originated, and, as it turns out, I can find a horse ANYWHERE (except Homestead Heritage)!! There was a horse made completely out of old cans, lids, and other trash. It was pretty cool!

After we finished there, we went on to the Texas Ranger museum. That had all sorts of cool stuff about the Texas Rangers. We saw some things about the Texas Rangers, some cool swords, saddles, and..... HORSES!!! There was an awesome taxidermy white horse that was super cool. Then we went into the gift shop and saw an awesome picture that looked familiar ........  I scanned my memory and realized it looked like one from a Cloud (you'll probably hear more about him in a later post) movie.

After that, I was dying to go to Toys R Us. We ate a long supper ( I'm sure Mom and Dad were trying to torture me!) then...... We got in the car.... And promptly got completely lost. Finally we found where we were going, and I practically flew to the door. I zipped in, then asked somebody where the Club Penguin stuff was. I was almost pulling Mom along, and we FINALLY  got to where they were.

I gasped when I saw them. It was CP lover heaven! Giant puffles, regular puffles, three pack penguins, a three pack of puffles, clippie puffles, penguins.....It was AWESOME!!  I went to see what color clippies they had. They had pink, which I already have, and red, which I already don't have.  I picked a red one up and price checked. He was 4 bucks! I grabbed him. I nosed around in the back, trying to find some more puffles, when I saw green fluffy hair, brown fluffy hair, and blue fluffy hair lined up together. My breath caught in my throat and my heart started beating faster. I, in slow motion, reached back and pulled up on the blue hair, because it was in the middle. I was ecstatic when the three rose together. That meant it was a three puffle pack!!! I bought it, thrilled. Now I have 29 puffles, 8 clippies, and three brown puffles, two green, and 4 blue, not including clippies.

The next day, Friday, we went to the Mayborne Museum. It was a natural history museum that had all sorts of awesome stuff, like some Indian stuff, some stuff about the wooly mammoth and how they died, and some other stuff.

We left Waco to go to Brenham after the Mayborne Museum. There, we pretty much hung out at the hotel till Saturday. Then we went to Washington-on-the-Brazos, a history of Texas type place. We watched a historical reenactment of the Alamo, watched the men shoot some guns and cannons, and then hopped over to the farm part of THAT. They had some hogs, cows and cock-a-doodle-doos, but STILL NO HORSES. Oh well.

The day after that, Sunday, we went to the Reinasance Festival. IT WAS TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!!! It was really family oriented, and really cool. We wandered around looking at some stores, then we went to a dog show.  That was cool and funny. I even got ' plundered' by the dog, Kharma. Then we wandered over to the next part and watched another show. It was a guy named Madman Maverick, and he was HILARIOUS!!!! After that we wandered around, went in more shops, bought Creator's Son a hat, watched jousting, ate, and all sorts of cool stuff. In one store where they were selling knives and swords, I almost bought a short sword for 15 bucks, but instead bought a thing for my hair.

All in all, that was an awesome trip and I loved it. I bought some new books, new puffles, and was ready to come HOME. Oh yeah, and, if you've seen commercials for The Lorax and think it would be funny, you are correct. It is REALLY funny.
