Kiki- Kitty kitty, Bailey

Googly Fish- Bailey's googly eyed fish

Red dot- Laser light

Nana's 6 month old kitten, Bailey, got to spend a 3 days at our house. Boy was she fun!! She slept with me every night and always helped with our school work, our reading, knitting, etc. She was full of bounce and energy ( no matter how little sleep she actually got!) and loved entertaining us.

The cat must be nocturnal because she almost never actually slept with me. She played on my bed WITH me except I was her audience. (Nana, you know what I'm talking about.) One morning before my alarm went off at 6:45, Kiki was up on my bed playing with my hair. Trying to completely shove all of it into her mouth at once, batting at it every time I moved, sitting on it , everything you can imagine.

She adored playing with googly fish and her laser light, but apparently my hair was just as interesting.

"Whheeee!!!" Bailey thinks as she pounces and juggles googly fish. "Kiki!!" I chuckle. Then, she spots red dot. She crouches and wiggles her bottom. Fooommmm! She is on top of it! Or rather, where it WAS. "Where did it g-oh  there it is!!!" Bailey decides.

Foxfire

We have been gone for the past three days at our Family Reunion. Most of people from my father's side of the family get together every year to just chill together.

Foxfire is a small piece of land that includes a river (may I interrupt myself to add the word 'freezing!' to that river...) and some small cabins in which to lodge. It is near Lost Maples State Park. We were in cabin 3, Yellow Flower.

We had a great time playing at the little park near the office were we could play on a tire-swing or other swings and a little structure. We kids (meaning me, my brother, and my cousin) had a
great time. There was also the choice of basket ball and the, as I mentioned before, FREEZING
(as an under statement!) river. My cousin and I really enjoyed the river and our new found pet frog, Fred. Another new found friend is kitty,
or as I called it, Ginger. The rapids part of the
river was warmer, but not very rapid.
A clothes line (go figure) divided the colder,
deeper part of the river from the rapids.

Dad's cousin always knows just what to grab from the store or sale for us! She got me a horse snow globe, and my brother a raccoon dangly thing-a-majig. It is SO smart!

So, all in all, we got to spend time with some of our family and have fun doing it. I had a magnificent time relaxing and enjoying nature. God is really creative and He knows how to express it. No matter where I go, He comes to remember that spot in the river or that tree. I think He also enjoys seeing how we react to those beautiful things He made.

Geocaching

Geocaching. Does the name ring a bell? Probably not. This is a treasure hunt for small (sometimes larger) containers in hollows and things like that. The treasures are never big, but they are worth the search. I enjoy these treasure hunting adventures, mostly because of my outdoorsy character. Go to www.geocaching.com to learn more.

My Mother is STRANGE!

To give all you poor people who have not met my mother an idea of her strangeness: Every time my brother or I say something that triggers a song in her mind, she sings the song. She complains about my bad moods ( I guess any mother would). She gives me funny looks when I showed her this title. She has to be treachorous before she loves all over us.

So, you see, she is strange, I'll give her that. But she's the best mother I know! She loves me more than ANY other girl in the world. I love her and she loves me right back.

She. Is. The. World's. Strangest.Yet. Most. Loving. Mother. EVER!

A Kid's Life

I'll start at the beginning. I have lived in three different homes in my 8 year life span. I have adored at least eight cats and three dogs (coming from all different times, of course!). I have played with my favorite toy, which is my brother, for eight and counting years. I have three wonderful grandparents to enjoy. I have Mom and Dad to enjoy. I think everyone should enjoy a kid's life!

I am in 6th grade and I have an almost thirteen year old, eighth grade brother. I have a 45 year old mother. I have a father who would not like me to post his age. I have a stuffed animal that has been loyal through almost 5 years. And, I have an unbreakable love for animals.

I tap dance and I am homeschooled. The computer isn't my life, but I spend a lot of time on it. I hate brussel sprouts and love peaches. I love horses, cats, and ferrets the most, but I love animals. Emily, one of the eight (or more!) cats I mentioned above had been mine since kittenhood, was adored many years, and recently passed away ( or so we think,). Thomas, her brother, is still there enjoying getting fed every day and hanging out. Dash, our dog at this house, is named for her incredible speed. She outran our car going 20 or 25 mph!

Wedding Trip

Another accomplishment by me. A blog.

I have just recently been on a trip to see my cousin get married, and I got to stay at (drumroll, please) The Worst Hotel Ever!!! Whee, fun. Okay, my brother says that's what it is. I say it was fun. They had a horse statue in the lobby, which I immediately took pictures of. Then, a picture of a puffle(off Club Penguin, an online game I play). And for my friend, this picture.

Another reason to be the worst hotel ever was : after the wedding reception and we went to our room, there was a rap concert right outside our room! It was supposed to last 'till midnight, but it was 12:45 when they finally stopped because WE called the manager. The rap was horrible!

The next day, though, made it up. We went to a miniature horse farm! I had to take pictures there, too. So, bad hotel, good day.
